【签证实录】巧妙让面试官忽略父母“移民”影响

背景介绍：

A1：Good afternoon, I am here to apply for a student visa. I am going to the Grier School to study Grade 11. (被打断)
Q2：How long will you stay in America?
A2：6 years. I am going to Grier to study Grade11 and after 2 years I will graduate from Grier and I intend to go to the Pennsylvania State University with the major (被打断)
Q3：(微笑)Why do you want to go to this university?
A3：It is really close to the Grier and most students graduate from here can go to this university.
Q4：(笑得很开心) So how do you know Grier?
A4：Grier happened to have an interview in Shanghai and I attend it. I also have learnt some information about it on the internet. According to this experience and the information I learn from Internet, I think Grier is really fit for me. It is an all-girl school and it has a really strict system. It pays more attention to the education of girls and can provide girls with many different courses such as (被打断)
Q5：Can you show the bank statement?
A5：Ok. My parents have provided me with 1 million RMB as time deposit. (被打断)
Q6：What jobs do your parents do?
A6：My parents both work in a big company called Ningbo Siwei Motor Limited Company and my father is the general manager and my mother is the financial director. (被打断)
Q7：（皱眉头，很疑惑的样子）Do you have any sisters or brothers?
A7: Yes, I have a little brother.
Q8: How old is he?
A8: eight.
Q9: (更疑惑更皱眉头)Do your family live in America?
A9：No, they all live in China and I have no relatives in America.
Q10: (继续皱眉) What is your father’s name?
A10:（照实回答）.
Q11: wait. Wait. (和旁边11号窗口的男的低声讨论，我听见她说我没有亲戚但是纪录怎么怎么样，然后那个男的说不会吧。然后她说 maybe it’s her grandpa’s grandpa. 讨论了一会儿后她又问9号窗口的那个女的一些问题，很轻没听见，我就一直很镇定地看着她)
Q12: Ok. Do you know that your father is applying the emigration?
A12: Yes, I know. But my parents are doing these things and I don’t know the details. I just want to study in America.
Q13: Ok. Then, do you know what the emigration mean? (好像是这样的，我听不懂了这个问题，还再问了她一遍)
A13：Sorry, I don’t know.
